These are the ladies from the block exchange that produced my house quilt.
They each made a house block for me. Pictures are in a previous blog. The quilt went to Japan for their show and now their quilts - and some of them - are here for our show. We are honored.
We ate at a Japanese restaurant in East Lansing - in our own tatami room.
Liz - on the left - is the one who started it all by living in Japan for a couple years and being a part of a quilt group there.
The others around the table are Naruge-san, Miki-san, Konishi-san and Naomi-san.....
After lunch we stopped at The College Store nearby and they got some Michigan State shirts and mugs to take home to family. They were going to JoAnn Fabrics and Country Stitches this afternoon.
This evening is quilt show set up - we will work hard.
Then home to sleep - we do need some of that!!! Liz, Miki-san and Konishi-san are staying with us.

How wonderful - I can't wait to meet the ladies at LAP tomorrow!
And I'd love to go to Sansu with you sometime! I didn't even know about it.
