Celebration Dinner

Last evening my friend Cindy hosted a dinner for quilt friends. It was also to celebrate 2 birthdays - Ruths' and mine - both last week.

Cindy made stuffed shells and had a great salad, broccoli and bread. Lisa brought a carrot cake and Tish brought key lime pie. Of course there was wine - even one from a vinyard of the same name as one of the guests!!! She's going to invest in that one!!!

Spending the evening with friends was very enjoyable. I value our time together.
We played a few rounds of "Kings Crowns" - a card game that didn't involve too much thinking - altho the wild card changes with each hand and occasionally there was a slip up!!!

I forgot my camera - ten lashes for me!! Maybe Ruth will post pictures on her blog - http://rdukelow.blogspot.com

Thank you Cindy

I enjoyed playing hostess and doing the cooking, with your help of course. I hope to make these dinner parties a monthly event. Next time we need more time to play games, will plan accordingly. I have plenty more liquid libations for our enjoyment. Cindy

Plan one for some weekend I'm up visiting...we can leave Dad babysitting and I can try out some appetizer recipes on someone not as picky as my crew. =)
