Charm Quilt

I finally have a charm quilt!!!!!!!!!!!!

Many years ago I was part of a small group that exchanged charm squares - hundreds of different fabrics in all colors of the rainbow. I hand pieced a unit of these that is way too hard to put together. All these little flower shaped units are in a basket to this day.

Daisy has a challenge for this charm group (we still meet monthly) this year - I swore off challenges, but started a small piece...........well, it grew on it's own.

There are 378 tumblers and it's basted, ready to quilt. The picture is sideways and I could not get it all..........
The back of this quilt is a fabric I've been saving for years and wanted to use on
something for me. It will be worth your wait to see it!!!
I also made use of this Spartan block that has been in the closet for quite a few years.
I will wear it at the Tailgate Party that I am hosting the final evening that our Japanese Ladies will be with us - later in March.

As always, even my scraps end up in something............
