Reading..........reading.............reading...........and more reading.Thursday we returned to the East Lansing Water Park for another four hour afternoon of fun. We had chinese dinner with Great Grandma and Great Grandpa Thomas in EL.
Dress ups..........playing with dolls and lots of clothes. Barbies took over the floor last week.
Today is was Mandy, Jenny and Becky - little girl dolls that Fisher Price made when Ashley was little.
I was cleaning out the closet - found boots and wedding shoes that Ashley wore.
This evening we went to Riverwalk Theatre for the opening of Thunderhoof and the Prince. Allison has been to 2 other performances at this theatre and recognizes some of the actors.
This is Thunderhoof - Brian comes to my library!!!!!!!!!!
Tonight he was carrying his behind in the costume. Allison got quite a few autographs.
The prince is Dan Kuhlman - from Grand Ledge - no relation, but I introduced myself to him and his parents.
This was King Bunko and Queen Bustell - Allison recognized the King from Rumplestiltskin.
Allison has been a delight to have with us. She is so polite (except for a few belches) and helpful. We have shared activities and stories. We got school supplies for third grade when we did our shopping this morning. She has a new school bag and shoes, too.Saturday we will be joining some quilt friends as we travel to celebrate the 50th wedding anniversary of a quilt friend in Union City.
John is involved in a golf tournament this weekend - but we will find time to show off Allisons' swimming skills at the pool after his golf.

Great photos and stories, Linda. What a summer Allison is having with Grandma and Grandpa. Brian does all of my weeding and other yard work for me. He urged me to come see Thunderhoof -- told me he is Thunderhoof. John Putnam told me about Brian. He does some work for John, too. Daisy
