Hearts and Hair

I really have been making hearts in the evening.........most applique but the name and the hands are fused. I will secure the name with stitching. This is the lime green grandma hand with the heart of Allison.

This is the pink Allison hand with the lime green heart of Grandma.

I know the hand doesn't show up real well. I wanted to use a piece of pink from Carol with the butterfly and bird..........

I had it done yesterday. Got LOTS of comments (good ones!) when I went to work at the library. The kids were funny - "WOW, it looks cool!!"

I didn't have to sleep on the couch, so I guess it's ok with John!!!!
