Sauder Sunday

Last Sunday was our annual trip to the quilt show at Sauder Village.
There were 3 cars - Cindy, Pat and me; Ruth, Carol and Deb; Lisa, Claire and Jacob. Here are a few pictures of quilts that caught my eye - mostly the bright ones!!!!
This one won for the art quilt and also innovative piecing.

Just liked this one - nice collection of asian fabrics.

This guy may be a pattern - but I LOVE his shoes!!!!!!!!!

A stack and whak that really catches the eye!!!!!!!!!!

This was the only challenge quilt that I took a picture of. Innovatively pieced, in my opinion...

Ruth with one of her entries.

My with Olympic Circles - pieced and beaded during the winter olympics.
Yes, that is a red ribbon growing out of my head!!!!

Cindy with her entry.

This was the viewers choice - made by a group of ladies who pieced themselves - from the rear!!!!!!!!!!!

Pat and me in front of my other entry.
My vest is pieced with scraps from this quilt - and the other one - and another using all those fabrics!!!!!!!!!!

Lisa also won a ribbon - but I can't find the picture that I thought I took - maybe I missed it........(sorry, Lisa)
check Ruths' blog - Quilts, Books and Dogs......she posted some pictures from the day.

Thanks for posting the photos, Linda! It was a fun day.

By any chance, did you get a photo of me with my Eye of the Tiger/Mumbai quilt at the show? The one taken on my camera didn't turn out.
