On my sidebar, you can see the Black and White Challenge blog. I signed up for this at the first of the year and did some black/white and yellow totes and dress for Allison. Others have done some wonderful things with this challenge.
I have completed a top using, what else? - lime green with my black/white opposites.
Since I am not in any hurry for this, I doubt that it will be quilted any time soon. I do have 2 beautiful pieces of black/white opposites in sateen that will be the backing. They feel wonderful and will be a great backing - and out of the storage bin of black/whites!!!

Here are 2 close up pictures that show the pattern and the black/white opposites.
It is an eight inch block.

Most of the blocks were sewn together at Quilting by the Lake in April and the top was finished recently. For those of you who think I do everything by hand - this was done on the machine.

As I was making the blocks, I occasionally had some squares left over - so started piecing those together and then putting a little bit of the lime in between the 4 patches.
I couldn't leave then in strips, and made this wall hanging - Music in Bars. It has no home - maybe it needs a Bar?????

I'll bet the stash didn't go down much! ...but, it's a cool quilt and very "Linda".
I love it. Good job.
that is a great use of the positive/negative prints. I like the way the green floats on top of them.
NICE! I love lime green & those black & whites in positive negative pairings. (The stars are in my quilt.)
