Deb and Lori worked hard to.....even tho Lori forgot the cord from her machine to the electric outlet. Cindy has the same make sewing machine and they were able to share that cord......

This is for the Black and White Challenge - the blocks are on the design wall. I pieced these blocks and came home and did more - will have 56 to put into a personal size quilt. Since it has the lime green, I may just keep it for me!!!!!

I just returned from a long weekend at Quilting By the Lake II. There were 5 of us sewing, talking, eating and enjoying the company of each other at a home east of Ludington.
I worked on putting together what I have of my block exchange blocks with a spacer unit - got 2 1/2 rows together. I machine quilted a "Very Hungry Caterpillar" wall hanging for a preschool (and a small amount of commission). I sewed 38 eight inch blocks for the Black and White and One Other Color Challenge - the leftovers are in 4 patches with spacers and no plan!!! I put together the 12 bright pickle blocks that I have been hand piecing the last couple weeks. And I started knitting a shawl. I think that's it!!!!!
We all have a good time - so much sewing got done - lots more than the pictures show.
