This morning my car went in for an oil change and tire rotation at it's favorite car spa. The tires are not worth rotating - they need to be replaced and something else on the right front. Another trip to the spa in a couple weeks!!!
Our wonderful mechanic, Troy, just returned from the UP with about 30 salmon which he had smoked by a friend of his (fifth generation smoker!). This salmon has been smoked over birch and cherry wood last night. The car smelled heavenly when I drove home. We will eat well.........
That is exactly as I brought it home - sticking out between 2 plates.....and took the corners slowly!!!

Our Nantucket son was "up north", in Michigan, last weekend --- said they saw the salmon swimming upstream ---"never has seen anything like it" --- the river is solid with salmon and they are jumping out of the water --- guess you can catch them with nets --- I've never seen them. Have you thought about Quality Tire for your tires --- tell them you're a quilter. :-)
