Swimming and Crafts

Allison likes to go to the pool. She is not the fish swimmer that her brother is. She tries to swim, but sinks.........she uses the floaties on her arms or the noodles and kicks and paddles on her own - or she just bounces around in the water. Monday was not especially warm, and wrapping up in the towel happened often.

She enjoyed just floating when she was the only one in the pool!!!!

The pro shop has ice cream treats and Allison loves to get herself an ice cream sandwich as a snack.

Last evening we went to Daisys' home for potluck with quilter friends. Allison ate well and got to see Ruth and many others.

This morning we got quilts and books together for me to do a storytime at a library up north on Wednesday. We have to leave early in the morning.

Then came the crafts - pencil toppers. She says she might have enough pencils for all year at school!!!!

We will probably go to the pool again this afternoon - her choice of activity. That is part of being "alone" with us - she can choose!!!!
