The Olive Garden is done!!!

The Olive Garden is done, I think.
Note the little olive bugs in the lower left and the critter underground on his stash of olives in the lower right.
We played golf on Sunday - after the rain.
Alexander does just fine with his new clubs. Note the warm up exercise position.
Driving is another matter!!!! Children are not really allowed to drive the carts.

We gave Alexander roller blades for his birthday in February. They have been waiting for him here.
With all the appropriate gear, he took off and worked hard.

So hard that he had to disrobe!!!! He was really sweating.
Good time for a body odor discussion!!!

He did take drink breaks, too.
Our neighbors have a three car garage and drive - making it good size for a skating oval or figure eight. I have blades, too and we did a little skating in the street - it is just too bumpy. The vibration is awful!!!!!
We went to a library program about bats and bugs - games for learning.

Today we went to the East Lansing Aquatic Center - what a swimmer he is.
We went down the slides --- the double tube, single tube and body slides. Alexander liked to shoot down the body slide on his back and into the water. I prefer to sit and step into the water at the bottom!!

He didn't recognize himself in this picture - under the mushroom of water!!!!

It doesn't matter how old he is, he still loves to play in the sand and water......

This evening we went to dinner at the University Club with my parents, my brother from Indiana and 2 cousins from Texas that I haven't seen in YEARS!!!!
Alexander ordered the Michigan State Mile High Pie for dessert - which we all shared.

Love the quilt --- and, why am I not surprised to see little things hidden?! How nice that you are having this special time with Alexander --- he is growing up way too fast.

Did he point out to you that 6 years from now he can get a license??? He reminds me every once in a while. This from someone who still runs looking over his shoulder and runs into stuff...
