Still quilting

I am still quilting - just not very much lately. My grands are more important than my quilts.
I have been slowly working on getting this together - have 2 sides of pieced border on - and a corner.
Wednesday I did a storytime in McBain - up north, a little more than a 2 hour drive. Allison came with and "packed" the audience. What a beautiful little town - wave petunias lining the streets!!!!!!!! A glorious little library with lots of support from the community and a nice librarian named Laura.
Today was baby storytime and the Acting Up Theatre Group at my library. Allison enjoyed the show - and I put her to work with location stickers on dvd's.
It's hot and humid - so we will stay home and make our own pizza for dinner.
I also have The Music Man movie for us to watch. We saw the play at East Lansing High School last spring and someone has the idea to be Marian the Librarian for Halloween!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Allison will go home Saturday. We will meet her family in Bowling Green - half way between our homes. She has been a great little girl to spend time with - we have all enjoyed the time together.
Andrew will be 2 years old and they are celebrating by going to the Splash Park in their town.
