This and that.....

My garden is looking good - peas are just about done producing.   Beans, tomatoes, squash and a pepper plant are growing well.
This lily was given to me a few years ago by a child in baby storytime.   It gets bigger every year - and smells great!!!
I planted herbs and lettuce in little pots on the front walk.    Looks like lettuce salad with dinner today - and the peas!!!
Basil will go with the tomatoes I purchased at the City Market.
Saturday was Max's Race.    All the "real runners" in my age group must have been on vacation.  I took first place!!!!
I admit to a little jogging along the way.

I have been hand piecing - and appliquing - and embroidering - this little baby quilt.    The trees at top and bottom will get little french knots to look like the trees in the green fabric.   If you click on the pictures, they will enlarge.
My sewing machine had a visit to the doctor and is running smoothly - I have 2 quilts to machine soon.

I continue training for the Leading Ladies Marathon in August.   I will be doing the half - just don't have time to train for a marathon - and I don't feel I have to!!!!    I'm happy doing what I'm doing!!

I walked 7 miles this morning - tired legs.  Maybe I am trying tooo much tooo soon after the race!!!!    Rest day tomorrow!

I was admiring your baby quilt pattern when I suddenly realized that it is one of Pepper's crosspatch patterns. :) Love it!

I have to make three baby quilts soon (one of the babies is already born), so I'm checking out baby quilt pattern ideas.
