Quick Weekend in Ohio

We drove to Ohio on Friday afternoon - taking meat loaf for dinner with us - a kid favorite.   Saturday morning Allison had a softball game.    She is learning good technique from her patient coach.
Andrew at the ball field.
After lunch we took the kids to Youngs Jersey Dairy.
It was the cheese festival - so LOTS of people.
Goats to pet, tractors to climb on.
And tires to jump on!!!!
The National Guard had some "awesome vehicles" on display.
The humvee had an opening at the top.
Andrew knew there was supposed to be a gun up there!!!
He sure loved to climb in these.

It was about 93 degrees - and we were waiting for all to get together.
.
That meant time for ice cream!!!
There was a cheese pitching game -
You won tickets for the slide....
and the batting cages...
and a bucket of balls for the driving range!!!!   LOTS to do.
Ashley was home doing class work.   She is almost done getting an MBA.
I got to read to Andrew - notice the get-up - grenades attached to his waist, sword down the back, gun and helmet.........all necessary to listen!!!!
The obligatory picture of all on their front porch.
Before we left, I was giving the kids instructions on watering some plants that were in the ground.

Well.............that led to some hose play!!!!
John seemed to enjoy it as much as the wet ones!!!!!
We drove home to our lonely Mango - he's been bugging me all day!!!!
