This has been an exceptionally hot week. We played golf on the morning of the fourth and then I drove to Ohio to pick up a couple kids. The drive was very easy as the roads were practically empty. I spent the night and on Thursday drove back home with 2 children.
Friday morning we went to Lenscrafters to get glasses straightened and then did our Meijer shopping.
Since the Lansing area was getting all time record heat, we went to the pool.
That was the only place to be!!!!!!!!
It was a good place to be!!!
We will return this afternoon - at the request of 2 little water bugs!!
Alexander stayed in Ohio - he has a church camp next week, cross country, fitness instructor, golf and who knows what else!! When we were shopping yesterday, Andrew said we should bring him something - like a dead fish!!!! We were by the fish display. Andrew managed to get a dozen new pairs of socks - his fav camo socks were on clearance!!!
Don't know what else is in store for us. The 2 are playing with legos and the Fisher Price little girl dolls - Mandy, Jenny etc. that Ashley had as a child. They are similiar to the American Girl dolls of today.
