Johns' new toy

John has a new truck. He has been looking on line for a few months. The small truck market is tight - there aren't many out there. A dealership drove to Wisconsin to get this one.

It is a Chevrolet Colorado. Right now it is parked in the neighbors' garage. They are in Florida for a couple months.

John has ordered a cab for the back - must cover all those tools he keeps there. It also will get an appointment at Ziebart for rust protection.
Anyone want a 1995 Chevy s-10 for $1800??? It runs, but needy..............

Nice and shiny truck --- not likely to have quilt patterns on the tailgate though --- right? Thank you for the extra cheering last night --- we, apparently, needed all the help we could get! What a game!!

Looks pretty jazzy, Linda. I'm sure John loves tooling around the neighborhood in his new "toy"! Daisy

FYI...you might want to think twice about the rust proofing. I know when I had my first Mazda it was rustproofed by the dealer before I bought it and the manufacturer advised not to have it rust proofed because it would compromise the metal and cause rust where they drill to spray the rust proofing. Sure enough, the only place where it rusted after 10 plus years was around the rust proofing holes. Maybe American car manufacturers don't use the treated metal to prevent rust yet.
