Block Exchange and quilts for Baby P

Last evening was the first meeting for 2011 Block Exchange.

Block for Dorothy - to go with the rose blocks we made her last year. Phyllis is making a quilt for a little boy.
Bonnie has us using scraps.....again.....one of her specialities.

Louise - another kid type quilt.

Beth is making this for a family member who likes blue and yellow.......... OK as long as it's not blue and maize!!!!!!!!!!!!

Daisy has us doing the brown leaves again.............and they do NOT photograph well. Sorry

Carol wants scrappy too.

Jan has us making 2 very simple blocks that will go together - scrappy, too!!!!

Lisa wants a quilt with these two blocks of contrasting colors.........the limey green did not photograph well........again...sorry.

Cindy supplied us with everything for this block - and cut, too!!!!!!!!!

Eileen is repeating a block from last year, too..........just be careful how you cut it............voice of experience!!!!

Georgia supplied the repro fabrics for this beauty.

Roxie supplied a couple florals - and we will provide more. This should be a good one to work on this winter!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ruth wants a Christmas quilt............if anyone needs fabric - I have a bin full.

Mine is for another Christmas present...........whoever I have this year will get this. Batiks and black......simple and masculine......

The quilts for Baby P and his big brother are done............

This is the hexagon quilt for the new little baby due in the spring.

Crib quilt for little one.

Quilt for big brother Mateo.

Leftovers from that quilt for Mateo's baby doll.

Does the request mean you will do a tutorial? Those quilts are so cheerful and colorful! ...and we have lots of interesting blocks for block exchange, too.
