Kids and costumes

The kids were here this weekend.............costume pick up. This is one cute warewolf!!!!!!!!! He does have some sharp teeth to add to the costume.
This is the Elfin warrior from Lord of the Rings.........

The armor was perfect!!!!!!!!!!!!

And one "Pretty Vampire"
She has some vampire teeth too......
Allison and I walked the Halloween Boo 5k for Junior Achievement on Saturday morning - in costume!!!!!! I had hospital apparel to wear. She told me that JA came to her school in second grade to do a unit on community.

Saturday afternoon we went for a quick visit to see Great Grandma Kuhlman - Aunt Marcia was there too.
Alexander loves his costume so much - he didn't want to take it off. I consider that the ultimate compliment!!!!!!!!

Andrew had a little conversation with Great Grandma.

Dinner was Halloween shaped pasta with meatballs, salad and bread. Oh yes....and the blue finger jello that Andrew made!!
Snack before bed and football watching in this picture.

Also some snuggle time with Grandpa..........

Be sure to include ALL the kids!!!!!!!!!!!

Lunch on Sunday was a special............Octopus and Seaweed.

Alexander mixed the two - and added both red and green blood to his.......red and green ketchup!!!

Allison ate hers all up!!!!

Andrew ate his octopus, but is not a seaweed eater...........

As usual, I have lots of books for the children to read...............all my Halloween books, too.

Andrew really liked The Little Old Lady Who Was Not Afraid of Anything...........and did all the sounds with me.

They left this afternoon - to see the Great Grandparents at Burcham and then drive home.

I have a Victory Dinner Potluck at Playmakers this evening........John will cook his own steak.........I want NO REPEAT of what happened the last time I went to this kind of dinner...........

If all werewolves were as cute as Andrew --- we would have no fear! The costumes fit perfectly and what wonderful smiles accompany them. I, too, hope you have no misadventures upon your return tonight!

Awesome photos, Linda, but more important great additions to the memories you're recording for those beautiful children. You go, Girl! Daisy

It looks like Andrew is over his "camera shyness". With such a great costume, I can understand that he would want to show it off - even if it meant getting his pic taken.

M-m-m-m-m-m, Octopus and Seaweed, my FAVourites!

I love how you get the kids to visit their "Greats" as well - that is so important for EVERYone.

I also enjoy seeing them enjoy their costumes so much, and watching them grow up. It's been fun, eh?!

What a great weekend. Costumes a complete success. Are the fake teeth and black nail polish the "ugly" part of Allison's costume. Also, whats the deal with the hood over the face. Andrew may no longer be camera shy, but his older brother made up for it this year. I love how he wore the costume everywhere.
The octopus and seaweed dinner was a stitch. You are so creative.
