I made this "armor" from a portion of a tarp. It all came from a picture on the Internet - bless it!!!!
Allison will be a "pretty ugly" vampire. She chose the fabrics.
I also have a hair ornament of light pink and gold "hair."
She has these wonderful vampy shoes and black nail polish.........

wow, linda, so professional! i made mateo's this morning in 2 hours and it shows... at the end i realized there was no way to get him IN it, so i cut along the legs and added velcro... it worked out ok. i'm sure he wishes he had you as a grandma though - your grandkids have great costumes!
I am soooooooo glad I am not expected to make costumes! You do a great job of it --- if my grandkids ever ask me, I may have you adopt them!
What fun the gkids will have on halloween. Do they wear them for play during the year. It seems sad that they would be worn only once. The pretty ugly vampire, looks mighty pretty to me.
Have finally had time to catch up on blogs. It is great, but have been missing out.
