Two years ago during the Winter Olympics, I hand pieced and hand quilted this and gave it the title of "Olympic Circles".
With the Winter Olympics starting I had to come up with something to work on while watching all the sports.
I decided on triangles this time - and cut pieces using the block exchange pattern from Roxie.
I have quite a few black on white/white on black pieces and will use those first. I don't have specific plans for this - we'll see where it goes - and how many "pairs" of fabric I have!!!

Last night during the Opening Ceremonies I pieced these.

My folks have moved into a Retirement Home and I started putting little quilts on their door. Valentines will soon be over, so I whipped up a little green. Nothing fancy, just a little something. They get many comments on whatever I have hung.......so it's a good thing.

What fun!
I have several quilts/table runners with binding in need of hand stitching ... those were saved on purpose and will be my Olympic endeavor (last night I finished the label on daughter-in-law's birthday quilt).
Hmm --- maybe this is a good time to start the Quilt a Long --- since I am already behind. Like what you are doing with the black and white --- seems sort of appropriate with snow and winter.
