Last day of the Olympics and the top is done............
Winter Olympics, 2010. I missed the first 2 periods of the hockey game to get the trees and snow at the bottom done. Watching hockey now - with an eye on the MSU basketball game, too.
Closing ceremony this evening..........I really have enjoyed watching all these sports - from the hockey to the bobsled, skating, curling, etc..........

Once again, Linda, it's a lovely quilt and what memories it will bring back to you in the future. I, too, was watching both hockey and our BB game. If one team had to lose and one had to win, I'm glad for the way it came out. I felt it was "Take that, Purdue!" since they beat us on our home court this year. Today was our time to win. Daisy
I hope Roxie is looking at this quilt --- she has definitely inspired many of us! --- though I'm not sure I will make it, I certainly do like it a lot! I, too, was trying to watch both hockey and bb --- and celebrate a grandson's birthday --- so Grandma could only sneak an occasional look --- probably better for my blood pressure.
I have 18 blocks done toward my "Olympic Triangles" quilt. They go together so quick and easy. Maybe I can get enough done to put the top together at Quilt Retreat by the Lake IV!!! You are a great inspiration.

Fantastic quilt, Linda! Okay - I want to do a quilt in this pattern now. Maybe in colors instead of b&w - so many options, so many quilts!
