Little Hands and Block Exchange

These are the hands of Andrew. When we did the handprints on Labor Day, he wanted to do more - so I had him do both hands and made "Fall Leaves"
It is hanging in the back hall. I finished putting together my block exchange blocks - and spacers. It is for Christmas.
It got kinda large - it's 79"x 96" ----I don't know if I can quilt it with my machine or not.
Close up - flowers, veggies, birds and bugs - all found in the garden of a master gardner.
Now, back to the princess dress and a black cape...........

AWESOME! I can't wait to see that quilt in person.

Looks great! I can't wait until Block Exchange to see everyone's blocks (or pieced tops!) laid out.

Mine in this pattern is huge too, but I'm trying to quilt it on my machine. I'm planning to do mostly straight lines and then something a little fancier in the black rectangles (I think) - varigated thread adds a lot to black.

Your sister-in-law will be thrilled --- quilt looks great! I haven't heard any whispers about Halloween costumes yet --- maybe they all have it figured out --- I can hope!
