This is March Madness. Ruth gave me a fat quarter of the two green fabrics and I got creative. It has been hand pieced while watching basketball games the last couple weeks. There are 5 of one block and 4 of another (7 inch blocks) - then a pieced border - reminds me of Crosspatch - a book by Pepper Cory. 
It is bound and I started hand quilting last evening - while watching basketball, of course. Michigan State men and women are in the Sweet Sixteen - lots to watch this weekend.
Also a 5K - Race for the House on Saturday morning - with Ashley and family coming late this evening.
Update on the March Madness wall hanging - I gave it to the friends who we met at the Final Four games.........tickets for a quilt!!!!!!!!!!!
