This is rainbow sherbet for Lisa........such pretty colors.......especially nice in February!!
This is Carols' - she is doing the flying geese between these blocks that we are making.
Louise has us giving her scraps in a labeled bag. She is using "our" scraps to make a couple very scrappy paper pieced blocks.
The Michigan birds - robin and bluebird - are what Ruth has made for Phyllis - representing Michigan.
The circles are from Cindy to Ruth who asked us to make something from a St Francis prayer.......Ruth has the "line" on which this block is based.

Deb has rejoined the group this year. We made these blocks for her a few years ago. She wants more blocks so she can make a large quilt for their bed.
And yes, you've seen this block more recently - I had people do it for a wedding quilt for my niece.

She wants an oriental look in the dark blues.

It's called the disappearing 9 patch when put back together.

These nosegays are for Georgia - very pretty. She has some coordinating fabrics and will set them on point with triple sashing.

These are blocks for me - in a garden theme for a Christmas present.

Another person doing a quilt for relatives is Cindy - looks a lot like carmel coffee to me!!!

Terry is thinking soft and pretty with these little blocks. She brought some pieces to show us how she plans to set them.

Beth brought this finished quilt from a previous exchange - a baby quilt for a co-worker.

"For Beth, we make a nine patch and cut it in half - HOW EASY!"
This was a 12 inch (finished - not including seam allowances) block and then cut in half twice - right thru the middle each time. The block had a pinkish center, 4 brown and 4 blue pieces - which were cut 4 1/2 inch square, then sewn with 1/4 inch seam.
Thanks for posting these, Linda. Sorry to have missed the gathering, thought we'd be going to religious ed, but TC came home a bit sick ... good nap took care of it. See you in March!
I thought that the dark blue one was the disappearing 9 patch...
Sorry. Thank you for replying.

I sewed all nine of my blocks together the other day. I am anxiously awaiting eleven more blocks. I can't wait to see the finished project.
