Valentine Bags

At quilt guild meeting on Thursday a lady had a couple large bags of fabric that she was getting rid of. This red polka dot was there - it's really stiff - but perfect for little valentine bags.

I made 12 little bags - enough for my babies at storytime, my grands, and a couple for special little friends that come to the library.

The blue bag is for Alexander - I doubt that he really wants a red polka dot bag - or maybe not any bag to carry his valentines to school. I didn't want him to feel left out - he can use it for whatever he wants!!!!

This is the shorts set that I have made for Allison and her doll, Allison. There is still some hand work and closures to be done yet.

I will start on the dresses for the two of them this week.

This afternoon is MSU Basketball - vs Indiana......who just won their first game of the season. Their coach was an assistant to Tom Izzo - so they know each other and their tactics pretty well. I will pick up my dad and go to the game.

The temp outside is above freezing!!!!!!! When you open the front door, it sounds like water running!! The creek is rising.......but no flooding and not enough melting to see the grass or the garden......yet.

The sun is shining - that is uplifting!!!!!!!!

You have been busy, busy, busy!! I really like the bags, what a nice way to use up donated fabric.
