This is our advent tree - I made it many years ago when Ashley was small. The ornaments are made from felt - all hand done. It is my own creation. It hangs in the back hall so I remember (most of the time ) to add each day.
It hangs in the dining room.
This also hangs in the dining room - my upstairs tree. As I recall, it was made with fabrics from an exchange.
I made this last year to hang in a hall way......I've had the santa fabric for some time and needed to use it.

This Christmas house hangs in the back hall.

Another block exchange quilt is on our bed.

The blocks in this were won at quilt guild, too. I just lay it on the bed in Ashleys' room this time of year.
Our big decorated tree will be downstairs in the family room.

This is on the game table - It was a class MANY years ago - and there is no batting so I have used it as a tablecloth......

This was a block exchange - one of the first - a small group from Embroiderers' Guild. The group all contributed fabric and made blocks for each other. This is hand quilted with tiny little stitches - I can't do that today!!

I love seeing your Christmas houses again. Very fun quilt.
I hung my Christmas Penguins quilt in my living room last week. Putting out the Christmas quilts really does help set the mood for the season, doesn't it? I'll have to put my block exchange Christmas quilt on the guestroom bed when I get home tonight. The Christmas house block quilt that you made hanging year-round in my guestroom.
Merry Christmas!!! :)
It is fun to see quilts that I have blocks in --- as well as all the others. You helped put me in the "spirit", too. I'm planning to get the crib up by the weekend --- it involves clearing the entertainment center --- what to do with that stuff?!
Linda, I too have Christmas quilts all over the house. Started Monday, Dec. 1. My king size bed has the Christmas log cabin I made for Dusty years and years ago, my two double beds have quilts, and I have a double size quilt on both the living room and family room sofas. Plus wall quilts everywhere. I love the color they add, and usually leave them up thru Valentine's Day. Daisy
