Black and White Challenge

I have just joined a new challenge - The Black and White Quilt Challenge Project. Create something using black and white and one other color.......there are soooo many possibilities.
I have 2 large bins of black and white fabrics.

I enjoy using them anyway.........and this will be a good on-line challenge to share with others out there in cyberspace.
I will put the blogsite on my bloglines........

The GASP group has some African fabric leftover from a quilt that was auctioned off to benefit solar ovens and ended up at the Michigan State University Quilt Collection.
Cindy wants us to make some little wall hangings to sell for the same cause. I started these.........they need embellishment.

Don't know who that is peeking at this one!!!!!

Our Christmas tree - some little elf needs to start wrapping!!!!!!!!!!!!

Today is Stollen making.............it's in the oven for the first rise. I blogged about this last year, so won't bore you this year.
It's an all day affair - and makes 7 loaves using a recipe from Johns' Grandmother Kuhlman.

What secondary color? Lime green?

I vote for lime green too. Of course there is pink, hot pink, purple, yellow, red, orange....ahh too many colors to choose. Don't you just love black and white!! I think I will do another black and white for my block exchange again this year.
Love the African fabric pieces. I have been thinking about mine too. It will be an after Christmas project.
See you soon, Birthday girl.

I laughed, when I saw the "lime green" choice --- I think you are way too comfortable with that color. Maybe you should challenge yourself to use a different color?!Sounds like it will be a neat challenge and you are ready with the black and white!

Where are the xmas photos of your grandkids? I'm watching your blog for them to show Catherine her buddies, Alexander and Allison!

Merry Christmas from the Dukelows to the Kuhlmans!
