Saturday we had a date with all three Grands.....
The weather was beautiful, so we were able to be outside all afternoon.

Alexander is getting real good at hitting the baseball across the street.
Allison added to her pine cone collection in our front garden.
Andrew crawled all over the driveway and grass - didn't mind the different textures at all. He did, of course, find a dead worm to put in his mouth!!
The kids wanted to walk down by the creek - well.....that led to being IN the creek and mud...........such fun!!!! The dirt washed out of all clothing.
Great Grandma and Great Grandpa came for dinner. Great Grandpa got to feed Andrew while I was preparing dinner. Great Grandma is the "reader" to Allison and got a smooch.
After dinner Alexander showed us a new way to do multiplication - and then he and Grandpa tried it out on longer multiplication problems - and checked it with the calculator - it worked. Alexander was going to take that paper back to his teacher.
