This is what I looked out on Sunday morning - everyone else was in bed!!!! I got up for a 4.5 mile walk. I saw turkey hens at the cemetary and deer on the ridge.

The six ladies that attended Quilting By The Lake III.
Pat, Cindy, Chris, Me, Deb and Lisa.

We worked hard - almost 30 projects done!!!!!!!!!
Pat and me at our machines.

Cindy, Chris and Lisa hard at work.

Deb sewing blocks for a quilt for her brother.

We ate well - always!!!!
Lisa and her sister, Chris from California made home made green salsa and chicken - Mexican style. It was delish!!!!!!!!

Cindys' dotted circles - she had hand pieced the circles and then sewed them together at the retreat.

Another Cindy project - a disappearing 9 patch.........cool........

The coolest of all - Lisa's !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We both like Jane fabrics. Thanks for the fat quarter!!!!!!

This is a top I pieced that will go to Ele's place.

This is made from batik fabrics that were brought to me from Key West by my friend Mel - and picked out by she and Karen. Thanks so much.

I sewed the outside heart blocks and finished the top for Allison.

It took longer than I thought to piece all the scraps for the back............
I also made a pillowcase to match.

This is the sculpture of the empty spools!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It was a wonderful weekend. So much energy with all the sewing, talking, eating, drinking, walks, etc...............Great memories.

Linda, Looks like you had a very good time. Fabulous photos. Am getting some vibes from all the disappearing nine patches. Hmmm... I would like to know if Ele's Place is taking donations all the time. Would like to make a donation.
I gave up trying to comment on your blog --- my computer was not cooperating --- so, read the comment on Cyndee's blog. Love all the quilts you got done --- did you sleep?!
