Fall

You can tell the temps outside are cool when you find Mango under the tv, on top of the boxes!!! There is a little bit of heat there!!!!!!!! I wonder about the cat hair build up - how will I explain that to the service man when it becomes clogged!!!! With the good weather this week, John has been out taking care of leaves and garden areas. He hacked down the perennials in this area - also a bush-type that was in the middle.........oh well......if grows back, we will know it was really hardy!!!! I can't tell him - he did the job without asking.......

He also turned the soil in the garden - and dug up the carrots. I got home one evening at 8 pm and was outside scrubbing them under the spicket in the dark!!!!!!!!!!

This morning was the Run-A-Monk 5K for Woldumar Nature Center. I met up with a lady that I first met at this race last November. We see each other at quite a few races. We are both walkers - and we both won first in our age groups!!!!!!!!!!!

Last year it was windy, cold and rainy for this race and I really questioned my sanity.

This year it was almost 50 degrees and sunny - perfect race weather!!!!!
