On the Quilting Scene

I finished up this little wall hanging today. It is fused and machine quilted.
I have some of the blocks together for Allison. This is what it looks like so far. I have quite a few more blocks made - and some ready to piece. I want to have most of them done before I go any further in putting this "puzzle" together. The border on the sides will be the pieced hearts that you see on the bottom row. Those can be done on machine - just need cutting time!!!
Ruth showed off her new quilt!!!!!!!!
This is from the blocks we gave her just a couple weeks ago!!!!!!! She has it quilted and ready to snuggle under.

This is the back. She has done lots of machine quilting on this one.

Lisa has her block exchange blocks all together...........just beautiful...........

I started quilting on my block exchange quilt today - it's big!!!!! I'm just quilting in the ditch vertically, so far. There is a lot of quilt to deal with fitting in my sewing machine. Too big to do free motion specialities........
It's meant for a couch quilt anyway - and will have critters snuggling with people.....it does not have to be a masterpiece!!!!!!!!!!

I love these blogs. I missed Charm yesterday because I was at a fundraiser for The Listening Ear, but I get to see the show and tell anyway! Thanks.

Thanks for posting the photos of my new quilt! :)

I love your tree wall quilt - it is perfect for the Charm landscape challenge (is that what you made it for?). Our landscapes-with-trees could hang side-by-side when/if they're displayed.

Your wall quilt is has a true "folk" art flair. Very spontaneous and fun. Also, love the show and tell from charm. Lisa's quilt is terrific. It just flows together. BB
