Hanging in the Dining Room

I hung these in the dining room last eveing - finished quilts!!!!

The hangers are something I special ordered a few years ago - there are little weights in the wood that hold up the quilts. I change the display frequently.

The large one is the first quilt I made with these fabrics.

I fell in love with the floral fabric and got lots to coordinate with it. It is hand pieced.

I used a "new to me" batt - 100% cotton Cream Rose, should be nice and warm if I ever cuddle under it. Not likely, because in the next picture you can see all the beads that I added to this one.

That batt was fairly easy to hand quilt - thin, soft and warm. There is both hand and machine quilting on this quilt - and then all the beads.

Click on the picture to enlarge it and see some beads.
You have already seen a close up of the smaller quilt in an previous post.
Thanks to my friend, Carolyn, from Lunch Bunch, I have started another wall hanging with these fabrics. I do like the colors combination - and have plenty of choices for the next project!!!
That one has applique - and maybe no beads!!!!!
