What Next???????

This is what I have been working on........I LOVE the applique. There are gentle curves and minimum points. I just don't know where this piece is going next.
There are advantages and disadvantages to pre-planning a quilt.
I have more of the great floral in the hearts and I think I may use it with a lighter pink for a 3 pieced border..........maybe.

I have also been dealing with aging parents. My dad is in the hospital with a badly infected (to the bone!) finger. He will be there for a few more days as they will operate again, irrigate and pack. He will be on iv anti-biotics for a month!!

Johns' dad has just been released from the hospital in Florida. He has heart issues and from that memory and balance problems. He is going to need daily help - more than mom can give.

We have been lucky so far with our parents being able to care for themselves, but that may have come to an end. There are many places in the area that they can go - retirement centers, senior and assisted care apartments, etc. And yet all research shows they are better of in their own home.........we'll see.
Lots of decisions to be made in the near future.......
