I was feeling very lonely without one.
I spent an afternoon at The Camera Shop, Best Buy, Circuit City and Meijers.........
I will NOT return to Circuit City or Best Buy - did not get waited on in either store.
Our first digital camera came from The Camera Shop 3 years ago. It had 3 pixels and 3x zoom and cost $399 plus the memory chip, case, etc. I liked the pictures taken with that FinePix camera and that brand has good reviews in Consumer Reports Magazine and JD Powers ratings.
My big dilemma was going small ( the new digital camers are soooo small) or going "chunky" --------I chose chunky and have 7.1 pixels and 10x zoom....... I feel like I have a camera in my hands.
Last evening we learned the basics is using it - there are so many features....I hope I can use half of them!!!!!!!
Today I put the software to download pictures onto the computer - and now can add pics to blog entries!!!!!!!!
I am signed up for a photography class with Ron St. Germain at Woldumar Nature Center - thru the Delta Township Arts program. The class says I will learn how to be in creative control of my photographs..........we'll see!!!!
Oh yes.....this camera cost just under $200 - with many more features than the old camera. Including a chip that will allow me to take over 1,100 pictures!!!!!!
Just goes to show you how far digital photography has come in three years!!!!

Great camera! Just wondering if you have the pattern for Allison's shawl that you knitted. It's lovely and we have a February wedding for which Ana has a sleeveless dress -- to avoid the longsleeved T-shirt underneath her dress, I think a shawl would be appropriate. Let me know, Eileen.
