Hibiscus and gardening

 I have gotten some planing done lately. My vegetable garden is "in" - peas are almost 3 feet high, beans are coming up, and tomatoes are looking good.    I planted carrots, too, but can't see them yet......oh yes...and a couple summer squash plants.    We put up new fence last week - hope to keep the critters out!!!

I have some herbs in pots along the front walk.  The hibiscus is on the front porch.   Today it was at it's best!!!!!!!

I have a couple pots of begonias, too.   Oh yes....and 2 hanging baskets of petunias........everything is pink......but not my hair!!! - at the moment!!!

Tomorrow I will hang quilts at the Okemos Library - with Cindy and Lisa - a whole room of quilts on the walls.   Always eye catching!!!

My training is coming along nicely......Leading Ladies half marathon is in August in Spearfish, South Dakota!!!!!!!!!!!!
