Art Fair and Race - all in a Sunday

 I went to the East Lansing Art Fair this morning.  
Got this bug for John - it has a golf club head for the tail - and also scissor handles for wings - perfect for our yard!!!

 Earrings from my favorite lady - Renate.  Flowers for my sister and the others for me!!    The headband is for Allison.

 Crossbow is for some little boy who has a birthday this summer.   When he started kindergarten last fall, he was drawing stick men with crossbows and other weapons.   His kind teacher never questioned!!!!!

This afternoon was the Dan Langdon Memorial 5K at Eagle Eye Golf Club.    It was 89 degrees - HOT and sunny and the course was the cart path - up and down in the hot sun!!!    Many I talked to walked more than usual!!!   Me included, but I came in 3rd in my age group behind a couple runners and had a good time despite the heat.   Did I say it was rolling hills and  HOT!!!!   

Notice my new running dress......it fits so well and looks good on me.   I got beaucoup compliments!!!    Perfect for going from art fair to race...........
