Block Exchange 2012

Last Monday was the first day of Block Exchange for this year. We gather with directions for your blocks that will be made by the group.
I forgot my camera..........sorry.
But I had a sewing day on Tuesday and made some of the blocks.

This is for Cindy - she provided all the squares - just sew them togther in the correct order!!! Jan has us sewing squares together too - only then cutting them in a certain way to make these blocks.........pretty!!

Lisa has us cutting squares, too - but adding the little corners and centers for red flowers.

Georgia has us cutting squares, too - and making H and I blocks.

Beth has us giving fabric - this picture does NOT do these colors justice.

Daisy has us cutting squares, too - and making this large block. She provided the forest for the 9 patch block.

I have us cutting squares, too - and if this looks like my block from last year - it is!! Just a different size. I will use them with another block that I will be making later this spring.

LOTS of cutting squares this time!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is Purple Trees. My project for my art group this month. It is not quilted yet - but will be soon.

I will get pics of other blocks from block exchange next month.
