Quilting along..........

I am old fashioned in some ways. I love to hand piece - the more little pieces, the better.

This is the result of using a package of fabrics from 2002. I can't imagine me buying these - I think I won them at a show or something. Mostly fat quarters in a line of fabric - and I never do that!!!!!!!

There are 12 pieced blocks - all different. I guess it's my modern take on an old fashioned block pattern.

I have basted vase and stems on the piece at the top - and there will be one like it on the bottom. Not sure of what flowers or bird or what will go there. I'll start applique this evening during the MSU football game.

And I'm not sure where this is all going - or what it is for - or why I am doing it...........and that's ok!!!!!!


This is another block that I have done - and will do 4 for a medalion center with applique.

I got out to walk today for the first time in over a week. I think all the exercise we did moving counts as cross-training!!!!!!

Even tho I was kinda wet from the walk, I decided to dig the last of the carrots. MUDDY!!!!!!!!!!
