Christmas and Toe

The tree has been up and Mango has found his resting spot. He's often seen in as a lump under the tree skirt.
There are a few presents under the tree now.......John has started his job!!!!!!!

I've also started baking cookies...........


Sunday morning I was getting a rack out of the drawer under the oven and it caught on the solid hardwood rolling pin which fell onto my toe..........OUCH!!!!

I then went on an 8.5 mile trail walk........good walk.
When I came home I thought there was mud on my toe..............NOT!!!

I don't have time for this............lots more baking and cleaning and laundry and work to be done.

And I have a half marathon on January 7 - on the trails in Yankee Springs Recreation Area.

Luckily it doesn't really hurt to walk on it..........too much!!!!!!!!!!

Ashley and kids will be here the end of the week for family celebrations.......and good times.
