I have been hand piecing these little dresden plates. The fabric is from Rosie - a collection of eighth yard pieces of Liberty of London florals. They feel like silk and are wonderful to hand piece. They are now ready to applique onto a collection of hand dyed gradations that I did a couple years ago. I plan to use the rest of the fabric for sashing and borders - probably squares. The backgrounds are not exactly the same size - so there will be some improvisation!!!!
I have also done nothing about the centers..........that will come after I see how the plates look on the backgrounds.

There is nothing like the "hand" of the Liberty of London fabrics. I'm missing the lime green in the plates! Nice job
What did they decide on for Halloween this year? I always love seeing the costumes you sew for them.
Can't wait to see the Dresden plates in person - I really like the combination of Liberty of London with your hand-dyed gradations.
Great block for Phyllis. I enjoy seeing the final blocks put together on the last night of block exchange.
Half a hearty congratulations now and another after you finish the race. You'll be great!
You GO!, Pink-haired Woman.
You have my admiration and support - I am so happy for you and your new-found sport. Healthy, and an interesting antidote to hand-piecing block after block after block.....
