Busy Allison

Allison has gotten out some Annie dolls that used to belong to Ashley - who was in love with the play, music and words to "Annie." Now it's Allisons' turn for this.

The doll closet and bunk beds were from MY Ginny dolls!!!!

Allison was home with John while I was working at the library on Wednesday. She got out the dollhouse and ALL the stuff that goes with it. Lots of little things - from kitchen utensils to towels in the bathroom.

John and I made this dollhouse almost 30 years ago for Ashley.

Thursday Ashley went with my sister for a little while and then came to the library for Science Alive program.
This picture with the chinchilla has 4 of my favorite girls - Maggie, Allison, Beatrice and Audrey.

Here is a 9 banded Armidillo.......he scurried about to the delight of the children.

The yellow python was a hit - this one likes to give hugs!!!!!!!!!

Thursday evening we went to the opening of Sleeping Beauty at Riverwalk Theatre. A nice version of the story.
Allison knows how to quick get autographs after the show. Here she is with both little and young Beauty.

And the Queen - who she recognized from a previous play at Riverwalk.

Today we did our Meijer shopping - food and some school supplies. This afternoon we went to the pool - not real hot, but she enjoyed the water. Came home for one of my favorite summer meals - BLT's and watermelon. Yummy home grown tomatoes!!!!!!!!!
Allison has read a LOT of books - a good reader she is!!!!
We hope to get more pool time as the weather will be warmer next week. I'll bring the camera.

Linda, as I've said previously, you are building great memories with your grandchildren -- ones that will be a part of their lives forever! Daisy

Hmmm --- I may need someone to take me to the Science Alive program --- though I'm not sure I'd get too close to the yellow python (or, any color, for that matter!)! Nice to see so many active pictures of Allison. Enjoy the rest of her visit --- will we see her Monday evening?
