Kahlua is made south of the border and I LOVE Kahlua. So that had to be the theme of the quilt. It is 24 by 22 inches.
The labels were carefully soaked off bottles and the seals that hang on the right lower edge were carefully cut from bottles. The drinks in the glasses are made with various amounts of kahlua, vodka and cream.

Definitely South of The Border. Very ingenious way of quilting Kahlua too!!
Awesome. I'm thirsty.
Kahlua and cream used to be my favorite after-dinner drink, altho Marilyn S. used to ask for kahlua and 2% when she was here. That's what I stocked. Thanks for the memories. Daisy
I love Kahlua, too --- enough that I used to make my own (thus, no labels to give you!). Don't imbibe much anymore, due to the diabetes --- d___! Cool idea and quilt!
You make such sacrifices for your art...emptying how many Kahlua bottles? Love the quilt.
Great new look for your blog page - cool design.
So glad that Kahlua is done and ready for the big show! Thanks for delivering mine too. :)
