Block Exchange

I published the post and forgot to add this - Deb came from Grand Rapids. She is having us repeat this block to make a really big quilt for her bedroom.....it's beautiful - and the secondary design is neat, too.
This is Cindy's - most blocks are together. It's all batiks in carmel colors....... Mine for my sister -- the Master Gardner and Birder........

Daisy has us making these houses with lights in the windows.

Eileen provided all the fabric for these - she must have 50 of them!!!!!!!! It will be a BIG quilt.

These are the scrap blocks that we have made for Dorothy - can you see the stars???

Carol has us piecing this block - LOTS of pieces.

She will put them together with the flying geese units - and with all the different fabrics, this will be stunning. I'm saying this and I don't like repro fabrics. Luckily, a friend (?) had given me a little baggie of repros that I used for my block.

These are what Ruth has so far for her St. Francis quilt.

Georgia has us making these nosegays - she has lots more blocks done, too. There will be sashing.

Rainbow sherbet is what these blocks remind us of - Lisa is the proud owner.

Ruth F had finished her challenge for LAP - using pieces of fabric from the raffle quilt. Everyone is the guild was given a bag with pieces and "ordered" to make a small quilt - wonder how many will get done!!!!

Personally, I am having a hard time because these fabrics are NOT me at all!!!!!!!! I wonder if the directions say the fabrics have to be on the front of the quilt............

Ruth D has made this baby quilt - "Good and Plenty Pandas" for a friend at work.

That was quick! Thanks, Linda. They are all quite wonderful, aren't they. Daisy

P.S. Loved the impatients along your front walk. I planted some in my rock garden for some spots of color which I have to enjoy from afar now. Since I've fallen twice this summer -- the last time in my rock garden -- I've been ordered to stay out of said rock garden. I took the fall as a wake-up call as I could have hit my head on a rock when I went down. So I'm being smart. And now my doc has instructed me to use a damncane (as Clark called it) when I'm in the yaard. Life is NOT fair! D
