Doll Quilts for Ema
This is all I have left from the material that I got from Betty - and used to make her a quilt (she does not know about it - and it's not quilted yet - and on a back burner for now), a youth quilt for Ele's Place and now a couple doll quilts for a little girl named Ema.Ema is the granddaughter of a fellow High Scope worker, Judy. We have done trainings together in Ypsi and then administered the tools in schools. She was in the classroom today that I will be in next week. She does a whole class assenment and I do individual children - for this study. The State Department of Education wants to look at GSRP programs - too involved to tell you any more. After Judy was done with her class this morning, she came here for lunch. It was nice to spend time together. She looked at some of my quilts -- there are a few hanging around the house!!! There are small quilts on the back of a chair in Ashleys' room and Judy wished that Ema had a doll quilt.............say no more!!!! So this is all that is left!!!!!!!! YEAH!!!!!!!
This is the larger doll quilt - about 31 by 36 inches. The peach color is on the back.
This is a smaller doll quilt - about 18 by 26 inches. I sewed all the pieces that had accumulated together and added and sewed and.....
This is the back of the little doll quilt!!!!!!!!!It is just sewn right sides together and turned and machine quilted - easy. Note the rounded corners - easy!!!
I will be hand tacking the binding on the larger one while listening to election returns this evening. It just might be in the mail tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!
