The weather was just beautiful today - perfect for golf, altho the golf was less than perfect. Just nice to be out with John, then home to sit on the deck and read.

I have been using up the little package from Michigan Quilt Network conference last September. The theme was Christmas and a little gift was at our place at the closing dinner - all the pieces for a little jar wall hanging.
The first was bug jars that will hang in the library. The summer reading program is Catch the Reading Bug.
This is the second - all fruits. This will go to the silent auction for the next quilt guild show.
A couple extra - these will be donation items in the future. They are not quilted yet.

Wonderful "jar quilts" --- and I could go all summer without seeing a June bug --- but better dead than alive!
