Olive Garden update

The Olive Garden is almost done. It is machine quilted and I did the binding with fused hand-dyed fabric.
I have some "olive bugs" that I will put on and need to put a critter sleeping on top of his "stash" underground. I am getting ready to go to Columbus for the National Quilting Association Show. Cindy and I will drive tomorrow and we have tickets for dinner and show preview Wednesday eve. Thursday morning I have a class and then a lecture in the afternoon. We hope to meet Pat for lunch - at the North Market of course ----looking forward to Jeni's Ice Cream!!!
The batteries for the camera are charging and I'm trying to decide what to pack. The hardest thing is making that list for John - what there is for him to eat, chores, plants that need water, etc. He is soooo spoiled - and he knows it!!!

We will return on Saturday - bringing Alexander with us. He and I have an important date next week - Grandparents University.

I hope you have wonderful weather for your trip - no floods and no tornadoes! Can't wait to see your photos when you return.
