As the Storybook Quilt Lady, I have about 30 quilts based on childrens' picture books.
This one is based on the book, I Ain't Gonna Paint No More! by Karen Beaumont and illustrated by David Catrow.
I was at the Michigan Library Association spring conference in Frankenmuth and got to meet both of them. They were being honored with the Mitten Award.
It was also the first time they had met face-to-face.
They both autographed my book and my quilt!!!!!!!
I am on cloud nine!!!
