I have been fortunate to be in a block exchange with 8 ladies in Chiba, Japan.
Some ladies wanted stars, trees, flowers, ginger jars, bow ties, fans, houses and schoolhouses.
This is MINE!! I just love the variety of homes that I have. They are all hand pieced and some are original patterns.
I used some japanese indigo fabric for the sashing and borders and hand quilted the piece.
I am so pleased to be a part of this exchange. The quilts made here may get to a show in Chiba later in the spring. Hopefully, the quilts made in Japan will come to the United States for the Lansing Area Patchers show in 2008.

This is a really fun quilt, Linda. I can't wait to see it "in person." Are you coming to Daisy's on Monday?
