Friday evening was the grand opening reception of the Michigan Quilt Artist Invitational in Flint.
Me and "Cuppa Joe" - the view from my kitchen window in the morning with my cup of coffee at the kitchen table.

I am a NPR fan - and this one tickled my fancy.

Cindy and her well decorated frige!!!!

Sunday I went to Marshall with Ruth - and met up with Deb and Lori.

I do really like this contemporary Christmas quilt. Done is bright colors , it might be fantastic!!!!!!!!!

I didn't take many pictures as most of the quilts were very traditional and "dark" - not my cup of tea!!!
Someday I want to do a "hoochie-mama" type quilt like this one.

We stopped at the Marshall House - a great quilt shop in downtown Marshall. I got a backing for a baby quilt and some wonderful black/white for borders.
Good weekend.
John is off golfing this week - up north on the "Red Eye"
