We Used to have a Hot Tub

The lower level of our sunroom - it has an upstairs and a downstairs level - used to have a hot tub. We had many issues with it - too much humidity in the room, leaky connections, etc.
John took it out - a major ordeal. He filled in tihe hole where it was partially sunken in the brick floor - used blocks and 2 by 4's and plywood.

Last evening we got an area rug - a GREAT deal at Lowe's. Especially since we were not picky about what we got and a quality discontinued one at a great price works wonders in the room.

The tub was against this wall - now it's a perfect place for a Kuhlman manhattan - thanks, Ruth!!

The other side of the room...........

The furniture has always been there. Those little low tables - kinda curved (between the chairs and in the right of this picture) - they were the top edges of the hot tub!!!!!!!! Now plant stands!!!

We are thinking of using it as a kind of exercise room in the fall and winter. It's cool in there and we could set up the Walkfit machine - see if it still works!!!!!!!!!

Looks good, Linda,

A good place to chill in the summer, and a good place to warm up in the winter - what could be better? And to use the bit of the hot tub for plant stands? Great! They must already be waterproof!

That's the same rug that's in our family room ... I mean not the same rug, the same color, style, etc. You have good taste.
